Job Description
The Key responsibilities of an Accounts Assistant will include:
* Managing and maintaining financial documents and records
* Assisting in the preparation of monthly financial reports
* Reconciling company accounts
* Assisting with both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
* Processing invoices and receipts
* Maintaining the petty cash fund
* Contributing to the development of financial procedures
* Handling ad-hoc financial tasks as required
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
* Previous experience working in an AP/ AR role or all-round accounts experience
* Experience working with Xero software is essential
* Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
* Excellent numerical skills
* The ability to work well as part of a team
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
