Your Role
Responsible for achieving productivity and quality standards while working efficiently as part of our Malvern team that builds, tests, and inspects Pulsar measurements’ transducers and controllers.
Your Responsibilities
* Build and test all types of Pulsar transducers.
* Assemble and test a wide range of Pulsar controller units.
* Solder leaded and surface-mount components onto circuit boards.
* Install firmware and software updates.
* Record all test and inspection results in accordance with procedures and ERP system.
* Prepare cables for encapsulation into transducers.
* Encapsulate products with two-part epoxy potting compound.
* Inspect products in production and occasionally in warehouse.
* Use workshop machines such as pillar drill and power saw safely and within guidelines.
* Assist with all aspects of production as needed.
* Support R&D in 'productionising' new products.
* Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
* Assist with warehouse coverage as necessary.
* Adhere to all paperwork and recording requirements, completing tasks timely and to quality standards.
* Handle products safely following company procedures.
Travel
* Limited travel as required to meet business needs.
Your Background
* Good soldering and de-soldering skills.
* Knowledge of electronics production, assembly, and use of potting compounds.
* Ability to prioritize workload according to production needs.
* Experience working from work instruction sheets.
* Basic computer skills.
* Experience with circuit board assembly and testing.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team, adapting to new situations.
* Understanding of manual handling regulations.
