Product Manager – Contract
* Location: Leeds (1 day pw onsite)
* Rate: £500 per day (Inside IR35)
* Contract: Initial 6 months
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the delivery of user-centred digital services within a complex public sector environment. You will play a key role in defining product vision, managing priorities, and ensuring services deliver measurable value to users.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own and manage the product backlog, prioritising based on user needs, business value, and technical constraints
* Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (design, engineering, delivery) to deliver high-quality digital services.
* Engage stakeholders to shape product strategy, roadmap, and delivery outcomes
* Use data, insights, and user research to drive continuous improvement and informed decision-making.
* Lead the product lifecycle from discovery through to live, ensuring successful service outcomes.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience as a Product Manager within the public sector.
* Strong experience delivering digital products in a healthcare or health-related environment.
* Experience working in Agile, multidisciplinary teams
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
* Ability to balance user needs, technical delivery, and organisational priorities
Desirable:
* Experience working on large-scale digital transformation programmes
* Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and analytics platforms
* Experience working with user research and data-driven product decisions
