A high-achieving Outstanding Boys' school in Brent requires a dedicated and knowledgeable Physics Teacher to join their Science department from September on a permanent, full-time basis. The successful Physics Teacher will have a passion for Physics and the ability to inspire and challenge boys across Key Stages 3 and 4 within our Outstanding Boys' school. We are looking for a committed Physics Teacher to contribute to the school's academic excellence.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging Physics Teacher lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Develop students' understanding of key physics concepts and their application.
* Prepare students for GCSE examinations in Physics (as part of Separate Sciences or Combined Science).
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing clear and effective feedback.
* Contribute to the development of the Physics curriculum and resources within the Science department.
* Encourage student interest in Physics through practical demonstrations and activities within our Outstanding Boys' school.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Physics.
* Proven experience in teaching Physics at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4).
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Physics.
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills, with the ability to engage boys.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in Physics within our Outstanding Boys' setting.
