Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools across Cwmbran. You’ll support pupils with additional needs such as Autism (ASD), ADHD, or Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) challenges—helping them achieve, grow in confidence, and feel included in school life.

* Pay: £89.38 per day (depending on experience/qualifications)
* Hours: Mon – Fri, 8:30am – 3:30pm
* Contract: Full-time or flexible part-time

What You’ll Do
* Support pupils 1:1 or in small groups
* Encourage positive behaviour & emotional wellbeing
* Adapt resources to meet individual needs
* Create a safe, inclusive and engaging classroom space
* Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and support staff
* Contribute to EHCPs and IEPs

Who We’re Looking For
* Graduates or students in Psychology, Education, Sociology, Childhood Studies or similar
* Any experience with children or young people (paid, voluntary or personal)
* Passionate about supporting children with SEN
* Calm, empathetic and a good communicator
* A strong team player with a genuine interest in child development
