Employee Relations Case Manager

A leading UK organisation operating in a complex, high-profile environment is seeking to appoint an experienced Employee Relations Case Manager to join a high-performing team.
The Role
* Manage highly sensitive and business-critical ER casework across a large, unionised, and operationally diverse organisation.
* Lead complex case investigations, disciplinary appeals, whistleblowing matters, and executive complaints.
* Represent the organisation in Early Conciliation and Employment Tribunal proceedings, with settlement authority at judicial mediation stages.
* Engage with senior stakeholders including HR Directors, Group Legal, union representatives, and executive leadership.
* Identify trends and support cultural and behavioural improvements proactively.
* Enhance line manager capability through identifying development needs and sharing learning from cases.
* Operate autonomously within a highly collaborative and high-performing national team.
* Support project work, including change consultations and organisational design implementation.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an experienced ER practitioner with:
* Deep knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
* Proven experience managing sensitive, complex, and high-stakes ER cases.
* Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, capable of engaging at executive level and with union representatives.
* Effective analytical, judgment, and decision-making abilities.
* Preferably CIPD Level 5 or a legal/employment law qualification.
