A manufacturing powerhouse is looking to add a Quality Technician to its team.
Overseeing final release of product, the successful applicant will have a background in quality inspection, preferably within an aerospace or automotive environment, and possibly also has experience of mechanical assembly in their work history.
You will require background security and employment checks, including 5 years of work history, to be completed prior to being offered an assignment start date.
Attention to, and an eye for detail, are critical elements of this role. Most of the inspection work will be focused on release and shipping accuracy, covering things like release certificates of conformity, checking data labels are accurate, and that attached documents are correct, prior to release to customer. There will be some checking of the external condition of the product units after manufacture, but this will not be the primary part of the role responsibilities.
There will be extensive training across a number of months, to gain an understanding of the elements that will be requiring the scrutiny and inspection.
The position will not involve metrology inspection, but will be more centred around accurate documentation, recording of inspection and release of product, using SAP software (SAP experience is advantageous but not essential) to document the checks completed.
