Your Role
As a SEN Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our students. Your responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum, tailored to meet the complex ASC & SEMH needs of all pupils.
* Supporting the class team in creating engaging learning opportunities and fostering positive behaviors.
* Monitoring and reporting on pupils' progress, collaborating with other staff to ensure every child's needs are met.
* Supervising pupils during non-classroom activities, including extracurricular events and school trips.
* Building strong, positive relationships with your pupils to drive interaction and enhance learning outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a suitable degree-level qualification.
* Previous successful teaching experience, ideally with KS1/2.
* Experience working with pupils with SEND in an educational setting.
* Strong behavior management skills and techniques.
* A commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn.
* Readiness to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to starting work.
