To support our operational leaders in creating an engaged, skilled, and high performing team through coordination of inductions and delivery of other appropriate training, while ensuring that digital administration platforms are maintained.
Training will include SSW's, CIPS, product quality and IFS use (booking, shipping etc.), although this is not an exhaustive list. Induction arrangements will include HR, H&S, MHE training and medicals.
Key accountabilities:
* Manage, coordinate, and deliver the training requirements for shift operation teams and temporary operation team members.
* Work with operation leaders to agree initial inductions and ongoing individual and team training requirements.
* Tracking of completed training, briefings, and inductions via the digital skills matrix, ensuring that progress is communicated to relevant leaders and managers.
* Provide weekly and / or monthly induction and training progress updates for production area leaders against agreed KPI targets.
* Review individual trainee progression and highlight any specific concerns or barriers, providing truthful, honest feedback making reasonable adjustments to delivery where appropriate.
* Support with SSW creation, reviews and updates, co-ordinating with operation leaders and management services.
* Support with communication updates of production related KPI's to the teams.
* Ensure that all inductions, training, and programmes are effective and meeting the needs of the business, therefore continuously improving and adjusting delivery content and delivery approach.
* Support the operation leaders with feedback and communication of SISI action status to the originators.
Person specification:
* Fit in with our 'Ideal Team Player' ideology (Humble, Hungry, Smart).
* Possess excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and be able to articulate training information. Be confident in delivery of training and transfer of knowledge to individuals and groups.
* Excellent organisational, time management and prioritisation skills.
* Knowledge of traditional and modern training methods and techniques.
* Good analytical skills (preferably with a minimum GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and Maths).
* Proficient in use of office 365 software.
* Have the desire to further develop own skills in training delivery and operational knowledge.
* Be a positive influencer with the ability to inspire and engage with team members in all aspects of learning.
