The Aftersales Coordinator plays a key role in delivering exceptional post‑sales support to WML's global customer base. This position ensures the smooth operation of the aftersales department by managing service and support requests, coordinating repairs, and maintaining accurate communication and documentation.
What You'll Be Doing
You will be the first point of contact for global service, support, repair, and loan requests, including issuing quotations and return authorisations. Liaise with internal departments and external partners to coordinate parts orders, stock transactions, and demo product management. Monitor and triage incoming support requests via email, CRM, or other channels, assigning tasks appropriately and assisting with resolution when needed. Develop familiarity with the WMFTS product portfolio, particularly WML products, through on‑the‑job learning. Support performance tracking by contributing to aftersales statistics and identifying opportunities for improvement. Assist in training and supporting WMFTS staff, agents, and distributors, and help host departmental guests as required. Maintain a proactive, flexible, and collaborative approach to team responsibilities and company initiatives.
Who You'll Be Working With
You'll collaborate closely with colleagues across our global operations and, at times, communicate directly with end‑user customers. Depending on the situation, you'll also engage with various departments within Watson‑Marlow Ltd. Above all, you'll be a key contributor and team player within the Aftersales team.
Key Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should be capable of independently managing a variety of tasks while contributing as a key member of the Aftersales team. Building strong working relationships across the company and wider group is essential. A commitment to delivering accurate and timely customer service is vital, along with a genuine interest in learning about our products to enhance the support you provide. Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office applications, e.g. Outlook, Word, and Excel, is required, and experience with PowerPoint is a plus. You will also be expected to become a skilled user of AX Dynamics and other specialised software used at WML.
