Job Description:
We’re Enterprise Mobility, a family-owned, world-class portfolio of brands including Enterprise Rent-A-Car. With a $35 billion turnover and nearly 90,000 team members across 95 countries, we have grown from a pioneering idea over 65 years ago to the global mobility leader we are today.
Join us, and as the TargetJobs Graduate Employer of the Year and a Times Top 100 Graduate Employer, we will offer you the freedom to explore your potential and progress on your career path. Are you ready to make your move?
After an initial virtual classroom-based orientation, you’ll be assigned to a branch for hands-on business training. Here you will learn valuable skills from capable mentors, many of whom started as graduates in our Management Training Programme, including our current CEO.
This program allows everyone to learn our business from the ground up and understand their role in our success. Our promote-from-within culture ensures a well-rounded training experience in management, finance, operations, sales, and customer service.
As you develop, more opportunities will become available. You can choose to continue your ascent within our Rental Operations managerial track, potentially becoming a Branch Manager in as little as two years, or explore other options within Enterprise such as Human Resources, Accounting, Revenue Management, Sales, and Marketing.
We prioritize diversity and have been recognized in The Times Top 50 Employers for Women, Stonewall’s Top 100 LGBT Employers, as a Disability Confident Leader, in the Social Mobility Employer Index, and as a Race Equality Responsible Business Champion by BITC.
Enterprise remains family-owned, with our CEO Chrissy Taylor, the third generation of the Taylor family, leading the company. This provides stability and a long-term vision for our business, employees, and customers.
Responsibilities
As a Graduate Management Trainee, you will make business decisions impacting your career and the company’s bottom line. You will develop new business, maintain relationships, understand cost control, read P&L statements, and learn how to run a profitable business. You will also deliver exceptional customer service.
We will teach you effective communication, influence, and interaction skills with customers, vendors, and colleagues. You’ll learn sales techniques, problem solving, and conflict management, enabling you to build long-lasting relationships with business partners. You’ll also learn how to mentor, train, and manage staff, with development rewarded through pay increases and promotions.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree is preferred; professional experience can be substituted if applicable.
You must have a full manual UK driving licence; accommodations are made for applicants with disabilities who do not drive.
No drug or alcohol-related offences on your driving record within the last five years are permitted.
