Building Services Account Manager
Specializing in M&E / Facilities Management within Central London, managing a single contract.

Our client is a well-established property and real estate organization with high-profile commercial M&E and Facilities Management accounts across the UK and globally. Due to internal restructuring, they seek an experienced and dynamic Account Manager / Director for a prestigious commercial client in Central London. The role involves delivering a 5-star service, managing M&E maintenance, energy & sustainability, and soft services across a high-profile building.
The team comprises approximately 25 staff, including supervisory, engineering, and support staff, liaising directly with the on-site client. The salary guideline is between £75,000 and £85,000, complemented by a bonus scheme, pension, and opportunities for training and development within a market-leading organization.
Candidates should have at least five years of experience managing M&E or Total Facilities Management in a commercial setting, with experience managing Landlord Services or M&E/Total FM clients. Technical background is not mandatory, given the strong engineering team on-site and centrally. Additional desirable qualifications include Level 3-5 Leadership Management, IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH, MIBFM, etc.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing a team of approximately 25 staff
* Budget management with a circa £2.5 million P&L
* Delivering planned and reactive M&E maintenance
* Engaging with multiple stakeholders
* Ensuring compliance through auditing
* Implementing energy and sustainability initiatives
* Reducing work in progress (WIP)
* Identifying opportunities for project works
* Succession planning
