Job Opportunity: Injection Moulding Tool & Die Maintenance Engineer
We are a leading supplier of automotive parts, actively seeking skilled Injection Moulding Tool & Die Maintenance Engineers due to increased workload. With a long-standing and stable history, our company has grown significantly, recently acquiring another business and establishing ourselves as a major industry player.
Role Overview: The successful candidate will perform highly skilled, complex, and specialist work related to maintaining engineering tooling used for producing components, products, and assemblies.
Responsibilities:
1. Carrying out proactive maintenance on moulding tools and logging activities in the system.
2. Preparing moulding tools to ensure they are in good condition for production.
3. Liaising with the processing team regarding mould tool issues.
4. Investigating problems to identify root causes and communicating findings to the design department and management to prevent future issues.
5. Maintaining spares and equipment to minimize repair downtime.
Candidate Requirements:
* Completed a time-served toolmaking apprenticeship with experience in Injection Mould Tooling.
* Skilled in bench fitting.
* Experienced in manual machining using mills, lathes, and surface grinders.
* Experience supporting production tooling, breakdowns, and TPM activities.
