Legal Secretary

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Legal Secretary to support our busy Clinical Negligence team based in Sheffield. You will play a key role in assisting solicitors and fee earners with a range of secretarial and administrative tasks to help deliver excellent client care in complex and sensitive cases.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing comprehensive secretarial support to clinical negligence solicitors and legal executives
* Typing legal correspondence, medical reports, court documents and witness statements (digital dictation and copy typing)
* Preparing bundles for court and medico-legal experts
* Managing diaries, arranging appointments, and handling telephone enquiries
* Assisting with case file management and document organisation
* Liaising with clients, medical experts, counsel, and third-party providers
* Filing, scanning and general administrative duties to support the team
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within clinical negligence, personal injury, or litigation
* Fast and accurate audio typing (minimum 60 wpm)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Discreet and professional approach when dealing with sensitive medical issues
* Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise workload
* High attention to detail and accuracy

Pay: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
