We’re excited to offer a long-term opportunity for CAA B1 Licensed Engineers to work as a Flying Spanner on the iconic B747-400 (PW4000 / CF6) and/or B777 (GE90) at East Midlands Airport.
Location: East Midlands Airport (EMA)
Position: CAA B1 Licensed Engineer
Aircraft Types: B747-400 (PW4000 / CF6) and/or B777 (GE90)
Contract Type: Long-term | Determination: Outside IR35
Shift Pattern: 12 on / 6 off
Start Date: Immediate and rolling throughout the year
Pay Rate: Competitive
Maintenance Type: Flying spanner
Requirements
* Valid UK CAA Part-66 B1 License
* Certifying experience on B747 and/or B777
* Type rating on B747-400 (PW4000 / CF6) and/or B777 (GE90)
* Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
* Valid certificates: Safety Training + Human Factors, EWIS (1 & 2), and FTS Level 2
Key Responsibilities
* Troubleshooting and diagnosing aircraft systems and components
* Performing required repairs and component replacements
* Conducting inspections and functional testing
* Certifying aircraft serviceability in line with CAA regulations
* Ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulatory compliance
