This is a newly created role due to the company’s expansion plan in the UK. You will be joining a newly set-up UK team to originate, evaluate and execute investment and development deals in the student housing and co-living sectors. Working with colleagues and partners in the UK and Singapore, you will support the company’s growth in the UK and Europe.
Job Responsibilities
* Source investment and development opportunities in the student accommodation and co-living sectors
* Manage the end-to-end deal process from financial modelling, deal analysis, due diligence, to deal closing
* Prepare investment analysis and presentation materials for senior management and board members
* Build and strengthen the company’s relationships with brokers, developers, investors, and joint venture partners
* Monitor the progress of development projects alongside the company’s development partners and asset managers
* Collaborate with asset management team and operating partners to underwrite deal opportunities and re-positioning of existing assets
* Work with asset managers and portfolio managers on potential divestment opportunities
* Manage a cluster of assets and provide support to asset managers and portfolio managers where necessary
Job Requirements
* Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in finance, accountancy, real estate, business or engineering
* Experienced in real estate investment and/or development
* Familiar with the UK student housing, co-living, build-to-rent or hospitality sectors
* Strong financial modelling skills and deep understanding of the return metrics are essential
* Good communication and presentation skills
* Curious and adaptable, with a commitment to continuous learning and personal development
