If so North Trafford community services are is seeking to recruit a Senior Practitioner to join our vibrant teams. The post holder will provide effective clinical/nursing leadership for the North Trafford CMHT based at Crossgate House, developing and maintaining a high quality of service delivery.
You will offer a Nurse Led clinics to review service users who remain under the care of the CMHT for medication reasons - Clozapine and anti-psychotic depots, and also to provide a discharge pathway for service users who require some monitoring before discharge back to GP. You will provide knowledge and support to the wider team for any urgent situations that arise regarding medications and need for a service user to be seen at clinic.
You will also providing support within the senior management team of the CMHT to ensure oversight and efficient running of the team within best practice. This will include covering days on Duty; chairing various meetings in the Managers absence; completing various reports such a Tribunals and Complaints.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will:
1. Provide clinical leadership, supervision, support and consultation to staff in the CMHT, in line with clinical pathways and as outlined within the operational procedure.

3. Manage and evaluate caseloads in line with relevant clinical pathway, as outlined within the operational procedure and will include:

Deputise for the Team Manager in his/her absence and take on any delegated management duties as required. To participate in the bronze on call rota this is subject to approval.
