Quantity Surveyor Key Responsibilities Secure the company's full contractual entitlement and maximise project profitability. Monitor costs, revenue, and budgets, and produce accurate financial forecasts. Lead on subcontractor procurement, onboarding, and commercial management. Work closely with project teams to provide contractual advice and support. Manage client invoicing and promptly resolve any financial queries or disputes. Identify and mitigate commercial risks early in the project lifecycle. Support monthly reporting, cash flow management, and financial governance. Uphold and promote company values and commercial best practices. Quantity Surveyor - Essential Criteria Minimum 5 GCSEs (grade C or above), A-levels, and an industry-related qualification. Experience working on Social Housing Refurbishment projects. Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract (e.g., JCT, NEC). Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., V-Lookup, Pivot Tables, formulas). Commercial awareness and strong communication/negotiation skills. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
