Construction Change Manager - Digitise Site Operations

OPPORTUNITY
Our Engineering division has set out an ambitious 3-year roadmap to invest in digital solution to improve both the overall performance of the division and colleagues’ work-life and we are looking for additional people to join the team.
This is a high-profile role and we need people who are passionate about driving change and delivering business benefits. You need to be confident working in a dynamic environment and willing to be ‘hands-on’ where needed.
This is a permanent role, we are flexible on applicant location however there will semi regular travel to our Manchester office (every other week) with additional requirements at the office initially.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Work within the Engineering division as part of the Digital Transformation team, to identify, prioritise and deliver digital change improvements throughout the division, ensuring simplicity, relevance and efficiency at all times. Ensure that the changes deployed are effective, sustainable and can be measured to demonstrate impact.
Main Responsibilities:
* To champion and lead the digitisation of Engineering site operations.
* The role will manage the selection and deployment of multiple digital solutions into Engineering project delivery teams.
* The focus of the role is managing business change and digital solution adoption and will coordinate input from multiple SMEs.
* To report and measure the benefits of business change.
* Ensure that all developed systems and processes are aligned with Engineering’s digital principles: support Engineering’s strategic objectives, slimmer standard digital toolbox, provide insightful data, systemise and simplify business processes, facilitate collaboration, digital agility and innovation.
Requirements:
* Strong understanding of site operations and a passion for improving both site productivity and work life quality.
* Hands on MEP construction experience, with experience of at least one site discipline (eg engineer, QS, QA, PM).
* Able to confidently explain and present business cases, plans and new processes to diverse audiences: site operatives and senior management.
* Experience of delivering change programmes and process improvement.
