* Salary: £28,598 per annum (pro rata for part‑time)
* Hours: 37 hours per week (part‑time considered)

About the Department
The Children and Young People’s Directorate (CYP) holds responsibility for ensuring the safety, well‑being and development of children and young people across Suffolk County. As part of CYP’s Central Child in Need Team, you will play a meaningful role in continuously enhancing service quality to create sustainable, positive impacts for vulnerable children, youth and families.
Responsibilities
* Communicate effectively and use excellent organisational skills to ensure assessments and reports are within the timescale.
* Manage data proactively, flag deadlines and support colleagues to meet targets.
* Respond to statutory requests for information within set timescales, involving trawling databases and preparing responses for the manager.
* Help drive quality assurance by supporting the team with the case management system.
* Proactively develop systems which will support and complement the social work team.
Qualifications
* Good organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines effectively.
* Skilled in motivating others and can positively encourage team performance.
* Confidence in using databases.
* Good customer service skills.
* Ability to manage workload effectively.
