As our new ProductionSupervisor, you will be supervising and developing a team of production employees within an Autonomous Production Unit, driving daily performance in safety, quality, delivery, and cost while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
What you will be doing
As a key part of the Production Operations team, you’ll create impact by leading your team to achieve production targets and operational excellence that directly supports Grundfos’s mission to deliver pioneering water technology solutions worldwide.
Responsibilities
* Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 24 production operatives, ensuring high engagement and performance
* Plan and coordinate daily production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets
* Monitor and drive key performance indicators (KPIs) across safety, quality, delivery, and cost
* Utilize SAP to manage production orders, inventory, and reporting accurately
* Champion continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles within the APU
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across all operations
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a motivated production leader with strong people management skills, solid IT proficiency including SAP, and a proven track record of driving results through team development in a manufacturing environment. We would also imagine that you have:
* 3+ years of experience supervising or leading teams in a manufacturing or production environment
* Proficiency in SAP (production modules) and strong general computer skills
* Demonstrated people management skills with experience leading teams of 15+ employees
* Solid understanding of health and safety regulations in a production setting
Nice to have
* Experience with Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies
* Familiarity with Autonomous Production Unit (APU) or cell‑based manufacturing concepts
* Relevant qualification in engineering, manufacturing, or operations management
