Support Worker Role at Eden Futures

We support people to be as independent as possible to achieve what they want in life. No prior experience in care is necessary, as we provide comprehensive training, including a paid induction, Care Certificate, and Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care or relevant fields.
Main Responsibilities
* Support service users to lead full and active lives according to their wishes and support plans.
* Assist individuals in staying safe, safeguarding their welfare, and protecting from abuse.
* Provide emotional support with a person-centred approach.
* Help service users participate in social activities, manage finances, medication, and assist with personal care and healthcare needs.
* Act as an informal point of contact for families, social workers, and other support circles.
* Accurately report issues related to care and support, monitor health and wellbeing.
* Comply with health and safety regulations and maintain professional boundaries.
* Work within organisational policies and demonstrate company values.
Qualifications and Skills
* Caring, compassionate, and passionate about helping others.
* Ability to remain positive during challenging days and work well in a team or independently.
* Willingness to support colleagues and undertake training.
Additional Information
Roles are part-time, offering flexibility across days, nights, and weekends. Pay is at an hourly rate of £12.21, with annual equivalent based on a 42-hour week. We are committed to safe recruitment and safeguarding, with all staff vetted and trained to high standards.
