The Role
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, responsibilities include:
* Diagnosing faults across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and PLC systems
* Repairing plant and equipment efficiently and safely
* Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities
* Working closely with the production team to maintain output levels
* Collaborating effectively with other engineers on site
Whats Required:
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
* A completed apprenticeship (mechanical, electrical or control systems)
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing or production environment
* A strong mix of electrical and mechanical engineering skills
* Ability to read and interpret electrical and engineering drawings
* Confident IT skills
* A positive, can‑do attitude and strong teamwork skills
* Good written and spoken English
* Proof of Right to Work in the UK
