Shift Maintenance Engineer
Location: Preston
Shift Pattern: Panama Shift Pattern (Days & Nights)
Salary: £52,000 - £53,000
The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of production by carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance across the site. You will be working on a newly implemented CMMS system, designed to streamline maintenance processes and improve efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Carrying out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
* Servicing and maintaining a wide range of modern production equipment
* Using the new CMMS system to log work, manage tasks, and check stores
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site
* Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company standards

The Candidate
* Multi‑skilled engineer (electrical or mechanical bias considered)
* Experience within a manufacturing or production environment
* Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
* Comfortable using or learning CMMS systems
* Proactive attitude with a focus on reliability and efficiency
