Job Details
Location: Coventry (on-site at student accommodation building)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 1-2 weeks (with potential for extension)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, with possible overtime
Team Size: Up to 4 painters
Responsibilities
* Preparing surfaces by filling, sanding, and priming walls, ceilings, and woodwork
* Applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, doors, window frames, and skirting boards
* Ensuring clean, even, and high-quality finishes to meet project specifications and deadlines
* Working safely and efficiently within a busy construction site environment
* Coordinating with site supervisors and other trades to maintain work flow
* Maintaining a tidy work space and adhering to health and safety regulations
Requirements
* Valid CSCS card - must be presented on site
* Proven painting and decorating experience, ideally in commercial or large residential projects
* Good knowledge of surface preparation and painting techniques
* Own tools and personal protective equipment (PPE)
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team
* Comfortable working at height (using ladders, scaffolding, etc.)
