Job Description:
An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in an excellent care home based in the County Antrim, Belfast area. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers.
This care home has a 24-hour dedicated nursing dementia care team trained in managing complex needs of residents living with dementia or other memory issues.
To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
As the Deputy Manager, your key responsibilities include:
1. Lead and inspire the team to deliver special experiences to residents, promoting choice and independence.
2. Achieve high standards of care, ensuring adherence to policies, regulations, and care plans.
3. Collaborate with the Home Manager to implement policies around care standards, staff welfare, and training, fostering an excellent reputation.
4. Develop personal contact with residents, relatives, and visitors to enhance quality of life.
5. Deputise in overall management, including reports, budgets, and Quality of Life monitoring.
6. Ensure health, safety, and welfare of all, reporting hazards or risks.
7. Participate in training and development activities to maintain learning records and develop skills.

* Experience managing a team with appropriate supervision and rotas.
* Experience with quality and clinical governance, including audits.
* Ability to support others in line with the NMC Code.
* Healthcare sector experience.
* Driven, motivated, and committed to quality care.
* Energetic, approachable, and inspiring leader.
* Excellent networking skills with stakeholders.
The successful candidate will receive an excellent salary of £21.60 per hour (£43,804.80 annually), working full-time (39 hours/week) during day shifts. Benefits include:
