A leading Tier 1 contractor based in Somerset are seeking an experienced construction Document Controller to join their business. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the countrys most prominent construction business with a fantastic reputation as a leading reputable contractor. This Document Controller role will play a key part amongst both the site and design team, reporting directly to the Project Manager based on site five days a week.
About the role of Document Controller
This Tier 1 contractor traditionally specialises in large scale projects, including education, healthcare & industrial new builds, refurbishments & extensions valuing up to £300M on a nationwide basis for private and framework clients. The role of Document Controller is a permanent requirement with further works in the area.
Responsibilities for Document Controller
* Responsible for overseeing all project documentation and ensuring it is filed correctly in line with company protocol
* Assist both client and stakeholders with relevant systems training when required
* Continuous maintenance and management of systems throughout the duration of the project
Requirements for Document Controller
* Previous experience using A-site and other Microsoft packages is fundamental
* Relevant experience working on large scale projects within the construction industry
* Strong communication skills and attention to detail
