Job Description:
Have you finished your teaching qualification and are looking to gain more experience?
Would you like expert support in finding a teaching role for the next academic year?
Your new company
Hays Education Wirral is the market-leading education agency serving primary schools across the Wirral peninsula. Our mission is to provide exceptional teaching talent to schools, ensuring every child receives a high-quality education. With our extensive network of partner schools, we offer a wide range of teaching opportunities in EYFS, KS1, and KS2 classes with both immediate and September start dates.
Our dedicated team of consultants will support you with local knowledge of schools across the Wirral and up-to-date information on the local job market, providing essential advice and support in finding a teaching position.
We also offer career consultations to understand your goals and tailor our support to help you achieve them.
Your new role
As an Early Career Teacher (ECT), you will have opportunities to take on short-term roles that build your experience and help you finish the academic year successfully. You will also discover where your strengths lie to secure the right role for the next academic year.
We seek enthusiastic individuals ready to inspire young minds. Whether you're looking for a long-term or permanent role to complete your induction, or flexible work after graduation to experience different school cultures and year groups, we can offer the perfect opportunity to showcase your teaching skills.
What you'll need to succeed
ECTs from the 2025 cohort or earlier are eligible to apply.
We are looking for Early Career Teachers who demonstrate:
* Passion for teaching and enthusiasm to inspire and guide students
* Adaptability to thrive in various year groups and classroom environments
* A positive attitude and willingness to embrace challenges and contribute to a supportive team
You should have obtained or be working towards QTS or a relevant teaching qualification and be able to provide references supporting your teaching experience, including university tutors and placements.
What you'll get in return
By registering as an ECT with Hays Education Wirral, you'll work with a dedicated recruitment expert who will support you in finding roles that meet your needs. Benefits include:
* £250 reward for referring a colleague
* Access to free professional development training and shopping discounts via the Hays Hub
* Option to be paid via PAYE
* Access to competitive pay under the Agency Worker Regulations
* Option to join our Guarantee Payment Scheme
* Holiday Pay
* Option to contribute to a pension scheme
