Our Client have a strong track record in producing technical documentation for the MOD and currently have several major high profile projects that they are currently working on. They are currently looking to recruit a Technical Author to join their growing Documentation department. This position would suit either and experienced Technical Author who wants to take the next step in their career or an EX REME or Equipment Support Manager ESM with a background in publications or knowledge of AESP\\\'s that is interested in becoming a Technical Author Ideally you will come from a mechanical/electrical engineering background Understanding of Land Systems or Defence Vehicles or AFV Defence Publications and Standards The ability to produce concise and accurate operating and maintenance manuals from a variety of source information, predominantly engineering drawings, CAD data and system specifications Knowledge of the following standards JSP D 543, JSP180 series AvP70 and Def Stan 02 - 40 and AESP 0100 series is desirable Role: Technical Author Location : Gloucester Area, South West Salary: £30000 - 35000 Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client\\\'s site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only open to sole British Citizens.
