Site Maintenance Officer - The Pines, Wandsworth - £13.04 per hour
* 50 Bedded Nursing and Dementia Care Home
* 30 hours per week

Responsibilities
* Perform routine inspections and maintenance of the building, equipment, and systems, including plumbing, electrical, heating, and cooling.
* Conduct repairs and improvements as needed, such as fixing leaks, replacing light fixtures, and painting.
* Ensure all health and safety regulations are met and maintain compliance with relevant legislation.
* Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to ensure the safety and comfort of residents and staff.
* Keep accurate records of maintenance work carried out and report any major issues to management.
* Collaborate with external contractors and service providers as required.
* Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, and order new supplies as needed.
Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience as a maintenance operative or similar role.
* Ability to perform a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Good communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility to respond to emergency situations outside of regular working hours.
* A valid driver's license.
