Job description
* Procurement & Stock Manager to join an expanding company.
* The successful applicant will need to demonstrate an ability to oversee all aspects of procurement including stock management.
* This will be a new role within the company so we would be looking for someone able to help us implement new systems and will be based within our office in Poole.
What will this role entail?
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance you will be responsible for the daily running of the procurement function.
Responsibilities:
* Checking prices paid for materials
* Negotiating with and influencing suppliers
* Identifying areas for improvement to current processes and procedures
* Monitor supplier performance, communicating any issues effectively to enable continuous improvement.
* Conducting regular stock takes and maintaining accurate records
* Provide monthly reports on savings made
