The Role

The role will focus on pupils in our six schools, two secondary and four primary. Your core responsibility will be to develop our staff to improve experiences for children with a range of communication needs, as well as offering assessment and targeted sessions; developing universal, targeted and specialist interventions and creating communication-friendly environments.
Through our Trust SEND strategy, we want our students to have access to inclusive learning environments, high-quality assessment and outstanding experiences and our Speech and Language Therapist will play a crucial role in delivering this. Professional supervision will be provided.
The role is based at our Trust Shared Services Hub at Willen Primary School and will require travelling between our schools within Milton Keynes. Some virtual work from home may be possible.
