Build a name with big-name businesses.As a General Operative with Sodexo, you'll enhance the services of our vibrant corporate site, offering a helping hand to ensure flawless facilities operations and keep things running smoothly.What you'll do:Demonstrate sound working knowledge of building and fabric systems, including minor facilities works.Perform minor carpentry and civil repairs (doors, cabinets, shelving installations, plastering, concreting, painting, etc.).Carry out fire door maintenance and support plumbing-related tasks.Maintain quality relationships with clients, suppliers, and sub-contractors.Work collaboratively within a self-managed, multi-skilled team to deliver high standards of service.Ensure Health & Safety compliance across all contracts within your remit.Respond promptly to service requests and assist colleagues, clients, and visitors with professionalism and care.Participate in cross-functional meetings to support continuous improvement.Keep facilities areas such as meeting rooms, kitchens, mailrooms, and lobbies clean, organised, and inviting.What you'll bring:Proven experience in a facilities, maintenance, or similar client-facing technical role.Technical proficiency in building systems and minor works.A methodical and analytical approach to troubleshooting and tasks.Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.Positive, energetic, and proactive attitude.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Commitment to safety, with a strong awareness of HSE practices.Why Sodexo?:Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it's a chance to be part of something greater.Belong in a company and team that values you for you.
