Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic dietitian with good team working skills to help expand our multidisciplinary specialist weight management team. We are excited to be increasing our delivery of GLP1 medications and this role will be integral in supporting this.
The post holder will have the opportunity to provide specialist dietetic support to patients in both the medical and surgical services. You will work closely with psychologists, endocrinologists, surgeons and specialist nurses.
We have embraced hybrid working and are happy to accommodate flexible working patterns.

Main duties of the job
* Provide specialist dietetic inputto patients living with obesity in both the medical and surgical weight management teams
* Work with patients individually and in a group setting both in person and remotely
* Provide non-judgmental, empathic and up-to-date clinical care to patients living with obesity
* Skilled use of behaviour change and motivational interviewing communication styles
* Be a supportive and flexible member of the dietetic team and an active participant in the wider MDT
* Support the team in service development and quality improvement projects
