About the Role:
Protocol Education is looking for a motivated and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join schools across Sutton. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to progress academically, socially, and emotionally in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and group support for pupils with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and communication needs.
* Assist teachers in adapting lessons and resources to meet diverse pupil needs.
* Encourage independence, positive behaviour, and participation.
* Support pupils’ emotional and social development.
* Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
Requirements:
* Experience supporting children with SEN in schools or similar settings.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* A patient, proactive, and empathetic approach.
* Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
* A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
