The role:
This business is an expert in everything exhibitions and events (so now you know who it is!) and they’ve recently launched a new team within marketing to focus on one area of their consumer facing business, so you’ll be working within a small team within a much bigger department – the perfect opportunity to focus on one area within a bigger brand.
The main focus of the role is to support the marketing lead to deliver effective, multi-channel marketing activity. This will include coordinating and executing marketing campaigns across their core channels, such as email, social media, website updates, organiser communication as well as content capture. On a day to day basis you’ll be copywriting, creating assets and providing support across wider channels such as influencers, partnerships, out-of-home and radio. You’ll be involved with planning and delivering campaign activity, contributing ideas and helping to drive awareness, engagement and ticket sales and you’ll use audience performance insight to help shape recommendations and improve campaign effectiveness.
You’ll fully own and manage all website listing, ensuring accuracy, quality and timely updates across all events and you’ll build, schedule and coordinate content for email campaigns, and you’ll always work closely with internal digital, data and design teams.
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for a marketer with around 18 months to 2 years’ commercial experience within a consumer focussed marketing role, who has worked across multiple channels. You’ll be a strong copywriter with the ability to create clear and engaging content across a variety of formats and brands. It would be really beneficial if you had any experience working within events, attractions, entertainment or family-audience marketing but this isn’t essential. You’ll be comfortable working within a really fast-paced environment, and you’ll be experienced in managing multiple-stakeholders and competing priorities. Naturally, you’ll be highly organised and have strong attention to details and you’ll be hands-on and proactive as well as eager to learn – once trained you’ll be happy to take ownership of tasks.
