Chief Financial Officer Artemis has been retained by a high-growth, private equitybacked market leader headquartered in Northern Ireland, operating at scale across the region. The business has delivered 3x revenue growth over the past five years through a combination of organic expansion, strategic investment, and disciplined execution, and is now entering its next phase of value creation. To support this journey, the Board and PE firm are seeking to appoint a seasoned, highly strategic Chief Financial Officer. This is a top-tier CFO role, offering an outstanding package. The Role Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Board and private equity investors, the CFO will lead the finance function end-to-end while acting as a key strategic partner to the executive team. Key responsibilities include: Strategic leadership of the finance function, providing commercial insight, challenge, and decision support across the business Acting as a trusted adviser to the CEO, Board, and PE sponsors, supporting long-term value creation and exit planning Leading and delivering multi-million-pound CAPEX programmes, including business cases, funding structures, ROI analysis, and post-investment review Playing a central role in M&A activity, including target identification, financial modelling, due diligence, deal execution, and post-acquisition integration Owning the financial strategy, including forecasting, budgeting, cashflow management, covenant compliance, and capital structure optimisation Driving data-led, analytical insight across the organisation to support operational performance and margin enhancement Ensuring robust financial governance, controls, and risk management in a fast-scaling environment Building, leading, and developing a high-performing finance team capable of supporting continued growth and complexity Supporting systems, process, and reporting upgrades to ensure the business remains fit for scale and future exit requirements The Person Proven experience as a CFO (or Finance Director ready to step up) in a scaling, commercially driven business. 40 million turnover Strong track record of leading large-scale CAPEX investments and capital allocation decisions Demonstrable experience of acquisitions and integrations, ideally across multiple deals Deep analytical capability, with the ability to translate complex data into clear strategic insight Experience working closely with private equity investors, boards, and external stakeholders Professionally qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) Skills: Acquisition Integration sell Business Intelligence
