Cinematic Product Videographer & Editor – Watches & Visual Storytelling Location: Nottingham (NG1) – Part-time / Remote-possible
Steel Reef is a design-led brand creating patented accessories for the world’s best watches. Now we’re looking for a cinematic product videographer and editor to help define the visual identity of the brand across YouTube, social, and paid channels.
You'll also edit our hosted YouTube content, build in supporting visuals, and deliver Reels or IG posts drawn from the same shoot.
We want someone who can think like a cinematographer and edit like a storyteller — blending precise visuals, lighting control, and original ideas with a sense of taste and restraint. Plan, light, shoot, and edit cinematic videos for Steel Reef products and watch accessories
Edit full-length YouTube videos (5–10 mins) using presenter footage + your own visuals
Build 2–3 Reels or Shorts per video cycle from that content
Develop visual assets and shortform content for Instagram, ads, and web (standalone or repurposed)
Collaborate with the founder and YouTube host to maintain visual and tonal consistency
Starting with 1 video every 2 weeks (5–10 mins long)
Includes 2–3 short-form edits per video cycle (Reels, Shorts, IG posts)
Skilled in lighting, composition, editing, and visual storytelling
Experience editing for YouTube and shortform platforms
UK-based — able to film in Nottingham or receive products by post
3D Motion Direction or Design (Cinema 4D, Blender, After Effects, etc.)
~ Background in creative direction or branded storytelling
30–£50/hour depending on experience
