Interior Technician / Technical Designer – Workplace
Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 (depending on experience)

On-site: 5 days in office
We’re looking for a mid-level Interior Technician / Technical Designer with proven workplace design experience to join a leading international design practice in their London studio. This role is ideal for someone confident in technical delivery and Revit, who enjoys taking projects through detailed design and into construction.
You’ll work closely with designers, project managers, and consultants to deliver high-quality, technically robust workplace interiors for global clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce detailed technical drawings, schedules, and specifications for commercial workplace fit-out projects
* Translate design concepts into coordinated, buildable technical packages
* Develop and manage Revit models through technical and construction stages
* Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues
* Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, standards, and best practice
* Support site phases including site visits, snagging, and technical queries
* Contribute to maintaining and improving technical standards and workflows within the studio
About You
* 4-6 years’ experience in a technical design role within commercial workplace interiors
* Strong proficiency in Revit (AutoCAD experience also required)
* Solid understanding of construction detailing, materials, joinery, and fit-out methodologies
* Experience delivering projects through technical and construction stages
* Working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and health & safety requirements
* Confident communicator, comfortable coordinating with multidisciplinary teams
* Degree or diploma in Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related discipline
