Responsibilities
* Participate in project welding activities cost‑efficiently, effectively, and safely.
* International travel may be required for worldwide projects.
* Monitor and collate data from R&D materials and welding projects; provide budget estimates and firm offers for tenders, projects, or internal clients regarding welding activities and equipment.
* Review technical specifications for tender/contract purposes; determine cost, quality, and cycle‑time impact.
* Calculate welding cycle times for pipeline installation rate estimates for tender and planning purposes.
* Perform QC and inspection functions during WPQT, WQ, and welding development; monitor production welding on site, may require occasional travel to worksites.

Education & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in welding / materials engineering or equivalent level through experience; IWE qualification is preferred.
* Experience of Mechanical/Electrical Engineering is preferred.
Skills & Knowledge
* Must be willing to undertake offshore survival.
Travel Requirement: 20% of the time.
