About the role:
Complete Pest Control AUS is seeking a full-time Trainee/Qualified Pest Control Technician to join our team in Port Macquarie, NSW. As our Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality pest control services to our residential and commercial clients. This hands‑on role will see you working both in the field and collaborating with our team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our customers.
Here's a quick overview of what you'll be doing:
* Performing comprehensive pest inspections and assessments at client properties
* Developing and implementing tailored pest control strategies to address identified issues
* Safely and effectively applying a range of pest control treatments, including the use of chemicals and other integrated pest management techniques
* Providing clear and informative feedback to clients on the status of pest issues and recommended actions
* Maintaining detailed records and documentation
Our requirements and expectations:
* Formal qualifications in pest control – Pest Management Technician (PMT) Licence + Timber Pest Management Technician (TP) Licence, or the eagerness to commence a Traineeship to obtain a Pest Management Technician Licence.
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a pest control technician, with a strong understanding of integrated pest management practices
* Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and compliance requirements for the pest control industry
* Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
* A proactive, solutions‑focused approach to problem‑solving
* A valid driver's licence
* Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with a positive attitude
