This post is based within our Education Directorate. You will be responsible for the delivery of effective teaching services to children and young people attending St Matthew's Academy.
This post has a start date of August 2025. Current Probationers can apply subject to achieving the standard for full GTCS registration.
Teaching in Denominational Schools In accordance with Section 21 (2A) of the Education (Scotland) Act 1980, the successful candidate for this post will require the approval of the Roman Catholic Church. PVG (Children)
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children under the PVG Scheme. It is an offence to apply if you are barred from working with children.
Successful candidates will need to join or update their PVG Scheme before employment is confirmed. The cost (£59 or £18) will be deducted from wages. For more info, visit MyGov Scotland.
If successful, your name and email will be entered into the PVG system to generate your PVG form, which will be sent to your email for completion.
