We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to support our strategic growth and new challenges!
This role is responsible for :
* Ensuring the smooth operation of the information system and the quality of the network, taking into account user expectations and needs, while ensuring maximum system security
* Implementing the operational and security strategy of the Group and the Company
* Liaising between Group IT and UK business stakeholders for continuous improvement and technological advancement of the wider business
Key responsibilities :
* To achieve the objectives set by the Group IT department, including participation to the definition of strategy and implementation of development projects
* To perform needs analysis and technology watch, to anticipate necessary changes and propose improvements
* To implement and administrate operating systems and networks with the IT department
* To maintain and develop a system and network infrastructure with the IT department and to provide technical support to new system projects
Profil
Qualifications / Skills required to succeed in the position :
* Proficiency in :
o architecture and system functionalities
o telecoms technologies, Internet
o office environments
o operating systems (e.g. Windows 10 / 11, Windows Server, Linux)
o Active Directory and LDAP directories
o IT and telecommunications security standards and procedures
o network and system administration
* Knowledge of :
o VMWare or Hyper‑V virtualization
o communication protocols
o installing, configuring and troubleshooting IT equipment
* Highly valued : 8 to 10 years of experience in a similar position
Place of work :
Position based in Poole HQ.
Hybrid working after probation period
Hours of Work :
40 hours per week (8.30am to 5.00pm from Monday to Friday - 30 min lunch break)
