We are looking for experienced, confident, courageous, charismatic programme and project managers, with experience managing complex and highly bespoke learning and engagement programmes and culture transformation projects.
Ideally we need someone with proven success working and thriving in an agency or consultancy environment, so you understand the unique challenges that developing bespoke solutions for large global clients with changing needs and high expectations can bring!
Must be proactive, highly organised (with logical approaches to problem solving and change / risk management), a great communicator and leader of remote working teams.
We have our own tried and tested “pathways to happiness” project process and follow all your typical PM principles such as resource, change, risk, budget, time, planning and client relationship management.
We use an agency management tool called “Wrike”, which we are still in the early stages of embedding, so people familiar with PM tools and keen on developing better, more automated ways of working in projects are needed.
These roles are the glue that holds everything together in our precious small, fast paced business and helps deliver our client promise and values. Our clients pay for PM resouce on all projects - so it's not a back seat role!
The quality of PM ripples out to the success of our projects and the achievement of our purpose as a business. PMs need to be emotionally intelligent, accountable, inspiring leaders and clear communicators, able to prioritise workload for self and others. Needs to be able to work out and find solutions to problems when they arise, manage and mitigate risk and plan ahead to avoid last minute surprises that can impact the whole team if not planned for.
Despite being a small business, we work on large scale complex programmes, projects with multiple workstreams and tight timescales. The successful candidates need to be able to thrive in this type of unpredictable environment where change is frequent to plans. Being flexible, able to manage your energy and drive teams to success is key… and when we get it rjght, the reward is amazing! Reporting into the Chief Operations Officer and working closely with project sponsors, this role will continue to contribute to improving our ways of working; includinb refining processes and helpinv train colleagues in our ways of working. As our business continues to grow and improve, opportunities to grow within the business are there for the taking!
Weekly PM tasks typically include:
- Project planning and task management with teams of resource working in solutions design, creative design, film making and more!
- Project status and performance reporting
- Budget reconciliation and managing project contracts, costs and revenue
- Resource management and meetings
- Internal and client project meetings
- Quality assurance and management (including reviewing solutions and proof reading)
- Project team leadership and comms
- Supplier and stakeholder management
NB: We are looking for experience as these roles may have 2-3 projects to manage, usually at different stages but each unique.
Contract duration: 6 months (with option to extend and mutually agreeable notice periods)
Salary £40-£60k per annum (pro-rata) depending on experience. We may also consider freelancers wishing to apply to work as part of our Happy Alliance. If preferred, please state on your application.
