Ever yelled "why isnt security baked in from the start?!" at a CI/CD pipeline? Good. Weve been expecting you.
Our client is a post-Series B FinTech infrastructure company - the kind that quietly powers giants youve definitely heard of. Theyre building the backbone of modern finance, and they need someone to make sure it never needs a back brace. Headquartered in London, and very much in "lets do this properly" mode.
As their new Senior DevSecOps Engineer, you wont just bolt security on at the end like an afterthought (we see you). Youll own it end-to-end - from hardening GCP environments and locking down Kubernetes clusters, to automating compliance checks and building the "golden path" templates that let developers ship fast without accidentally burning the house down. This is a foundational role with real influence. Youll be shaping the security posture of a regulated, multi-tenant platform that genuinely matters.
Whats on offer:
* Up to £90,000 base + equity - because you should own a slice of what you secure
* Hybrid working (2 days in office, 3 from wherever you do your best thinking).
* Nomad working up to 20 days a year
* 25 days holiday, growing annually
* BUPA private medical, enhanced parental leave, and a pension that actually exists
* Monthly socials, team lunches, office snacks, and a dog-friendly office - because security engineers deserve joy too
What were looking for:
* Deep GCP security expertise and GKE hardening - IAM, network policies, runtime security, secrets management (not post-it notes)
* Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or OpenTofu, written securely
* Hands-on with CSPM/CNAPP tooling - Falco, Aqua, Prisma Cloud, or similar
* CI/CD security guardrails across GitLab CI or GitHub Actions
* Scripting in Python, Golang, or Shell to automate the things, so youre not fixing at 2am ;)
If youre a security engineer who wants to build something that lasts rather than patch something thats already on fire, wed love to hear from you. Drop us a message or hit apply - your future pipeline (the secure one) awaits.
