Deli Counter Manager Ideal Profile:
Experience working within a café, deli, or fresh food service environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and support a team
Passion for fresh food and confidence sharing product knowledge with customers
Organised and able to prioritise tasks in a busy service led environment
Friendly, approachable, and committed to delivering excellent customer experiences
Good understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and daily operations
Deli Counter Manager Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily running of the deli counter and food to go offering within a busy café environment
Ensure food presentation, quality, and service standards are consistently maintained
Monitor department performance including sales, margins, and waste control
Lead, train, and develop the deli team to deliver confident and knowledgeable service
Manage rotas, holiday requests, and provide day to day support for the team
Order stock, liaise with suppliers, and ensure the department is well stocked and organised
