What you'll be doing day to day
* Work with a diverse client portfolio of commercial businesses up to £300m turnover, ranging from owner-managed businesses to listed entities and other corporate clients.
* Plan and complete statutory audits of corporate clients, both on-site and in the office.
* Lead the audit team on-site and ensure all audit procedures are followed.
* Supervise and support the work of junior team members.
* Develop relationships and liaise with client-side personnel, including non-accounts staff.
* Produce work for review by Managers and/or Partners.
* Identify technical or client-specific issues and suggest possible solutions.
About you
* Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport are essential for team collaboration and client service.
* ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent), or part-qualified with relevant experience.
* Experience with automated audit software and computer-based accounts and tax programmes.
* Full clean driving licence with unrestricted access to a car (desirable but not essential).
* Well-organised with good time management skills.
