About The Role
The Faculty of Health Sciences and Wellbeing is home to Pharmacy, Nursing, Medicine and Psychology. The School of Psychology is home to a thriving suite of disciplines - psychology, public health and psychology. Counselling, Psychotherapy & Occupational Therapy, ranked 10th (out of 49) (CUG 2026).
As Lecturer in Counselling you will be expected to contribute to the design, development and delivery of our counselling provision, including project supervision. As well as delivering high quality education in counselling, you will pursue impactful research in your area of expertise aligned with School and Faculty objectives. You will be expected to engage with the Assessment Innovation Project by thinking creatively about assessment design and delivery, so as to maintain the position of the School as being at the forefront of assessment innovation. It is expected that you would seek out and take developmental opportunities commensurate with your own level of development with a view to taking on leadership responsibilities in the School in accordance with business needs.
