Job Title: Integrated Project Team Lead
Working Pattern: 37 hours per week
Working location: Derby
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Integrated Project Team Lead to join Rolls-Royce Submarines in Derby.
The EC&I Control Account Team within Rolls-Royce's Submarines business is looking to recruit an IPTL to support and lead a multi-disciplined team tasked with driving critical new technical development programmes. The role will be responsible for leading a range of projects, demonstrating programme/project management skills such as planning, budgetary control, risk management, and team leadership.

What you will be doing:
* Generate the work plan with input from the IPT by creating a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Organisational Breakdown Structure (OBS), and Responsibility Accountability Matrix (RAM), then deploy to the Project Management Plan (PMP) to ensure successful delivery.
* Understand the critical path; drive task completion, communicate processes, and escalate issues.
* Deploy, direct, and coordinate resources to complete the planned scope of work; capture, understand, and flow down requirements.
* Be accountable for the successful delivery of scope within cost and quality parameters.
* Implement effective risk and opportunity management within the IPT by managing the Project Risk Register through ARM.
* Provide resource demand to resource managers and gain agreement through a CAM.
* Manage the allocated budget for the IPT and act as CAM, providing feedback to higher management.
* Provide programme and technical leadership and support to the cross-functional IPT delivering the work scope.
* Establish a project baseline for the IPT work scope and manage changes to the baseline.

* A degree in engineering or business, or equivalent experience, preferably in defense engineering.
* Project management experience, including understanding of project lifecycle, risk, cost management, planning, and team leadership.
* Strong planning and organizational skills for managing activities and deliverables.
* Excellent communication skills to influence and build relationships within cross-functional teams.
* Knowledge of electrical commodities and design/make processes (preferred).
* Experience coordinating engineering teams and design processes, with a proven track record in complex submarine environments.
