Strategic Research & Business Development (Built Environment) London | Hybrid Working £70,000 – £100,000 Bonus We are working with a globally recognised architecture and design practice to appoint a Capture Manager to join their strategic development team in London. This is a rare and highly strategic role supporting senior partners across international markets, combining deep market research, strategic insight and behind-the-scenes business development support. The role is not client-facing. Instead, you will work internally with partners and leadership teams to ensure they are equipped with the insights, strategies and intelligence needed to pursue major projects globally. The Role This position combines two key areas of responsibility: Strategic Research & Market Intelligence You will lead deep-dive research projects to help leadership understand emerging markets, sectors and opportunities. Typical work includes: • Global market analysis • Sector growth and economic research • Competitor and project pipeline analysis • Client and developer profiling • Opportunity due diligence • Identification of new markets and sectors Research projects may focus on individual countries, sectors or major clients and can span several weeks or months. Strategic Business Development Support You will also work closely with senior partners to support pursuit strategy and opportunity development. Responsibilities include: • Preparing partners for key client meetings and industry events • Developing engagement strategies for target clients • Supporting re-engagement with dormant clients • Advising on pursuit strategy and positioning • Translating research insights into actionable opportunities This is a high-impact internal advisory role where your work directly shapes how leadership approaches global opportunities.
